I really liked the food, and found it to be very authentic. Had palak paneer with rice and 2 chapatis. While I was grumbling about the prices before I ordered it, the quantity made it worth it - I was able to make 2.5 meals out of the veggie and rice! Would definitely recommend

HORRIBLE. Giving 1 star because there was SOME food and A server... but that's also the problem.
We went for Sunday brunch. Several of the entrees needed to be refilled, and did not get refilled by the time we were done. I literally left still hungry and the quality of the food that was there has gone down.
The waiter asked if if we'd like 1 or 2 naans. I asked what they typically serve and he said usually 1 per couple. I said ok then 2 (because we were 4 people) and we still got 1.
The first glass I grabbed to pour mango juice in was dirty.
We will not go back. I'll stick with Shanti even though people say tikki masala just a few doors down is way better (I've tried their buffet before and wasnt impressed- maybe it's better now... I mean, they were busier). -

I used to absolutely love this place. They had great food and great service. I would take my family often to eat their wonderful food. When they switched locations to forest hills it seems as if they left their sense of customer service behind.
The food is served at room temperature. The waiter seemed like he was bothered whenever we asked for anything and to top it off we were ignored a c phone off times when we tried to let them know things s like when they forgot to bring rice with my chicken curry meal. Overall I'm very disappointed as this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I will probably never eat here again. -

DO NOT go even to their new location. They are closing tomorrow and the kitchen is a complete melt down. We ordered two thalis the veggie one for 19$ and the non veg one for TWENTY FIVE DOLLARs.
We were not given the Pulao in the thali as mentioned in the menu and when asked about it we were told that there is a mistake in the menu. In two places. Clearly the server was lying. How could there be a mistake in two places in the menu. And if there is one that's your problem not the customers. And why should we pay 25$ for a thali with white rice??!
My chicken was uncooked (see photo) and after arguing for 5 mins we were brought a sad plate of greasy pulao which two people who are paying for two thalis were asked to share.
The manager was either not present or we were told he is not here.
I will make sure no one goes to their new location. The most disgusting experience I've had at a restaurant in Boston.
If you are closing and can't manage the kitchen close your restaurant and don't make customers and your staff suffer. The owner didn't even have the decency to be present there. -

Serving South Indian Cuisine without coconut chutney is the biggest crime against south indian cuisine. The I ordered mysore masala dosa and idli sambhar from this place via Grubhub. I've never been so disappointed with south indian food ever. The place did not send coconut chutney along with the order as apparently they were out if it. Also, the mashed potatos in the dosa looks and feels old and stale. It is inedibly dry and weirdly brown at some places making me even scared to eat it. The 2 star is just for the sambhar which is a bit decent.
Also, if you're out of chutney atleast have the courtesy of calling up the customer to notify about it. You dont tell that when the customer calls up to inquire about it. I wouldve cancelled the order if i knew pre hand that they didnt have chutney
